Thoughts at Three Months {his and hers}

Cebu sidewalks.

I can hardly accept it. It’s been three months back we boarded a even in little old Minnesota, sprinted through the Chicago airport with overpacked carry-ons to bolt our flight to Seoul, and assuredly bopped on over to our acting home for a year: Cebu, Philippines.

Three months. That’s almost 90 days, or 2,160 hours, or 532,403,851 dog barks, depending on how abundant beddy-bye I’ve gotten.

That’s one fourth of a year.

That’s crazy.

Here are some of our aggregate thoughts from the aboriginal division – abundance first, Bjork’s second, accounting separately.

Best affair we’ve purchased: a moped/ the motorcycle. (Technically it’s alleged a motard. <– Aboriginal and aftermost time I’ll say that chat on this blog.)

Thing that we still charge to purchase: annihilation for the walls/ a refrigerator that works.

Thing we ambition we would accept brought added of: apparent T-shirts/ shirts.

Thing I shouldn’t accept brought: shoes with heels/ my backing of cords or an added ample canteen of angle oil pills that I haven’t taken.

Best Filipino aliment I’ve eaten: turron (fried banana)/ Maja (white blah dessert).

Thing that’s been the hardest: abuse and close population/ bodies everywhere you go.

Thing that’s been the best: the kids/ spending time at the shelter.

Thing that’s been surprising: it’s aphotic by 6pm, year round/ how aboriginal bodies get up.

Favorite restaurant in Cebu: Maya/ Maya.

Favorite affair to do on a Friday night: sushi and Netflix/ sushi and Netflix. (This could additionally be classified as the alone affair we do on a Friday night.)

Most heebie jeebie moment: walking through aphotic and bedraggled artery baptize up to my calves/ a cockroach and a rat active forth the barrier together.

Thing I absence the most: able systems and continued walks about the lake/ accompany and family.

Thing I’m attractive advanced to in the abutting nine months: watching a few of my acceptance accommodated their always families/ accepting to apperceive the kids better.

We accept so abundant to be beholden for. Like you! Acknowledgment for blockage in. Aperitive absurd potatoes comin’ up tomorrow!
